KS2 Class teacher and co-ordinator

Alexandra Junior School has an excellent reputation in the local community with fabulous children who enjoy learning and who are happy and engaged by school life. We are a three form entry, multicultural school in the centre of Hounslow. High standards and expectations across all aspects of life are essential at AJS.

We are looking for:

• An exemplary classroom and curriculum practitioner who is standards driven.
• Someone with a very clear understanding of learning and teaching and how to ensure all children achieve their potential. We expect all children to have evidence of outstanding progress day by day and across the year.
• A team player keen to share expertise, empower and develop others and play a full role in the management of the school.
• Someone who will commit to our vision and approach their professional life in the “Alexandra Way”.

We are committed to ensuring that only the correct and appropriate people work in our school. We therefore carry out an essential security checking process, which includes an enhanced CRB check for everyone prior to confirming a contract.
